Sample newsletter article/ website blurb/blog post:

FASEB is hosting bi-weekly Advocacy Town Hall meetings on the first and third Tuesdays of each month from noon to 1 pm Eastern. The Town Hall meetings are open to anyone who wants to engage in advocacy or stay updated on science policy issues and news. [Insert name/acronym of your society] is a member of FASEB so please be sure to indicate your membership during the registration process (there’s a field on the form). You may join the meetings as your schedule allows.

Each town hall meeting features Capitol Hill and science policy updates from FASEB staff, joint sharing of intelligence and other information, and time for audience questions and answers. One-time registration is required to participate. The Zoom link is provided after registration is completed. Those who register will also receive an email after each meeting that includes a summary of the discussion and links to key resources. You do not have to attend each town hall meeting in order to receive the follow-up email.

FASEB also welcomes suggestions for future town hall meeting topics or guest speakers. Please send an email to [email protected] if you have any feedback about the town hall meetings. Click HERE to register for the meetings.
