Committee Charge
Advance access to training, resources, and professional development across the biological and biomedical sciences, and strengthen connections across the Federation to support scientists throughout their careers. Utilizes policy analysis led by the Training and Career Opportunities Subcommittee of the Science Policy Committee to inform program development and implementation.
Committee Objectives
- Promote access to education, training, and career development opportunities across the biological and biomedical sciences
- Expand engagement among FASEB societies and strengthen strategic relationships with national organizations, industry, and federal agencies to share resources and advance workforce development initiatives
- Support early-career scientists as they navigate critical career milestones by developing, curating, and sharing guidance, best practices, and training resources that enable meaningful, sustainable careers within and beyond academia
